Current Projects

Felt Puppets50 Puppets
10 cats, 10 monkeys, 10 pigs, 10 ducks, and 10 frogs

If you would like to print the patterns for these puppets click here, it will take you to the church website. Click on puppet patterns under Toys. You may also check out a kit from the basket at church. Some of the kits require cutting or sewing or painting. So if you don't know how to sew you can still help with the cutting or painting.

Baby Booties

Our goal is to finish 20 pair of these baby booties. A pattern for these booties is also available at the church website. Click here, then click on Small booties for newborn kits under Baby, Infant Patterns. This project does require cutting and sewing. You can also check out a kit for these at church in the Humanitarian basket.

Wooden Blocks

We are collecting as many sets of these wooden blocks as we can. We need men or women to safely cut out the sets of blocks. The cub scouts will be sanding and painting these blocks. For a pattern of the required block shapes visit the church website by clicking here. Click on Wood Blocks under Toys. They may be enlarged to a maximum size of 1 1/2" X 4 1/2", 2 " thick.

File Folder Games

If you can color and cut then this project is perfect for you. The young women will be working on this project. It will also be made available to the Relief Society Women in the Humanitarian basket. If you'd like you can visit the church website, click here. Click on File Folder Games under Education. This will give you the guidelines, not patterns. You can come up with your own patterns by searching the web or using other resources you may have. Or you can click here to go to a website I found that has simple file folder game patterns (like the ones shown).
